About the writer.

You may be interested in my credentials, so I guess I should tell you that I earned a  BA in Writing & Literature from Emmanuel College in 2011, and an MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing from Lesley University in 2017. I taught English Composition at Pensacola State College, and have published a number of personal essays, most recently in The Boston Globe and Shoal literary magazine. In addition, I spent five years immersed in the wedding industry as the manager of a bridal boutique in Boston.

But there’ something much more important than all that:  I’m a storyteller.

After an exciting or hilarious or overwhelming experience that you’re bursting to relay to someone but hardly know where to begin, I’m that friend you turn to and say, “You tell it.”

Communication is at the core of who I am. I’m a relentless analyzer. Naturally comedic. Dedicated to capturing the truth at the heart of every experience––skipping over the unimportant details, highlighting what matters, and connecting the dots along the way.

Being trusted to take your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, and craft them into a speech worthy of confident delivery is a great honor. It’s actually fun for me too! Writing is my gift, and I’m so thankful for every opportunity to use it.

Struggling to find the words? I’m here to help. Just reach out and say, “You tell it.”
